All students are required to wear the appropriate complete College uniform in the relevant season.
All students are expected to keep their appearance neat and tidy, and to wear the College uniform correctly.
Students are responsible for being respectful and cooperative when teachers raise concerns about the way students wear their uniforms.
The College has developed a Uniform Code to establish uniform expectations at the College.
Exemptions
Parents may apply to the College for a student to be exempt from a provision of the College Uniform Policy on the basis that complying with the policy would conflict with the student’s genuinely held religious and/or cultural practices or for medical/health reasons.
Any such application must be in writing before the fact and set out the reasons for the application.
The Principal (or delegate) must determine any such application on a case-by-case basis regarding the application’s merits, operational considerations of the College and the values of the College. The determination must not contravene the College’s legal obligations.
Without a current and valid exemption, the College Behaviour Management Policy and Procedures will apply.
